Vietnam Culture Camp Counselor

One of the most rewarding experiences of my life was spent volunteering as a camp counselor to 4th and 5th graders at Culture Camp. Hosted by Catalyst Foundation, a humanitarian organization that helps build communities in Vietnam to fight human trafficking, Culture Camp aims to help build self esteem and establish appreciation of the Vietnamese heritage and culture for children adopted from Vietnam and neighboring countries.

Scoutmaster – Venturing Crew 216

Scouting has been a part of me all of my life, and it runs in my blood. In the 1950s, my grandfather was a scoutmaster in Da Lat, Vietnam, and the scouting spirit passed from him to all my family members and me.  From my start as a Girl Scout until now, the scouting program has provided me with leadership and life skills that will last forever. As Scoutmaster, I currently volunteer with local and national committees in the Vietnamese Scouting community to help plan events and camps.
